A contract position is available to provide teletherapy speech-language pathology services for kindergarten through 12th-grade students in San Antonio, TX. This opportunity requires the delivery of virtual speech-language support to address the communication needs of a diverse student population within the school district.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct teletherapy sessions for students requiring speech-language pathology services across the K-12 age range
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Monitor progress and maintain accurate documentation according to school district guidelines
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to support students’ academic and communication goals
- Utilize bilingual skills where applicable to effectively engage with students and families in both English and Spanish
Qualifications:
- Active Texas Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) licensure from the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation is required prior to starting
- ASHA certification preferred, especially for those with clinical hours logged
- Experience providing teletherapy services, specifically in speech-language pathology
- Bilingual proficiency (English/Spanish) is highly desirable to serve diverse student populations
- Ability to manage a caseload and deliver 40 hours of service per week
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Contract Details:
- Location: San Antonio Independent School District, San Antonio, TX
- Start Date: Immediate placement, continuing through May 29, 2026
- Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, teletherapy delivery
- Age Group Served: Kindergarten through 12th grade
- Contract duration: Through the end of the current school term
