Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive speech-language pathology services remotely using teletherapy techniques.
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in a school-aged population.
- Develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and therapy goals tailored to each student’s needs.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress and integrate speech therapy strategies into educational plans.
- Maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions, progress notes, and compliance with district and legal requirements.
- Participate in meetings and consultations as needed to enhance student support.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
- Valid California state license or certification for speech-language pathology.
- Experience with teletherapy platforms and remote service delivery in an educational setting.
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders and intervention strategies.
- Ability to engage and motivate students remotely while maintaining professional communication with stakeholders.
