Remote Speech Language Pathologist - Illinois

Position Overview
We are seeking dedicated and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCC) to provide comprehensive remote speech and language services to students across the Chicago, Illinois area for the upcoming school year.
This role offers clinicians the flexibility of working from home while staying closely connected to an educational team. Working alongside on-site school facilitators, paraprofessionals, and special education staff, you will provide targeted telepractice intervention and evaluations to help Chicago-area students achieve their academic and communication goals.
Key Responsibilities
Direct Telepractice Intervention: Conduct individual and small-group therapy sessions targeting expressive/receptive language delays, articulation, fluency, pragmatic language, and augmentative/alternative communication (AAC).
Evaluations & Eligibility: Administer standardized digital evaluations, participate in domain and multi-disciplinary conferences (MDC), and write compliant IEP goals aligned with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) standards.
IEP Team Collaboration: Lead and attend remote IEP meetings with case managers, general education teachers, related service providers, and families to discuss student progress and accommodations.
On-Site Facilitator Coordination: Partner directly with classroom teachers and school-based e-helpers/paraprofessionals to coordinate therapy schedules, monitor student engagement, and support carryover in the classroom.
Case Management & Reporting: Complete accurate, timely documentation, progress reports, and Medicaid service tracking in accordance with district procedures and Illinois state guidelines.

Qualifications
Education: Master’s or Doctoral Degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences & Disorders from an accredited institution.
Licensure:
Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathologist license issued by the Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
Valid Professional Educator License (PEL) with a Speech-Language Pathologist endorsement issued by the Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE).
Certifications: Certificate of Clinical Competence (ASHA CCC-SLP) required.
Experience & Skills:
Prior school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
Experience or strong familiarity with teletherapy platforms and digital assessment toolkits.
