Remote Speech Language Pathologist in MD
A contract Speech-Language Pathologist position is available to support multiple educational settings within Dorchester County. The role primarily serves Cambridge-South Dorchester High School and Dorchester Career & Technology Center, with additional responsibilities one day per week at Maple Elementary School.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering comprehensive speech and language evaluations and therapy tailored to student needs.
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student communication goals.
- Utilizing telepractice techniques to extend services where appropriate.
- Maintaining accurate and timely documentation following district and state guidelines.
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association is preferred.
- Experience working within school settings, demonstrating knowledge of educational requirements and student developmental needs.
- Familiarity with telespeech services and ability to incorporate technology into therapy sessions.
This position operates on a 37.5-hour per week schedule, beginning August 24, 2026, and concluding June 10, 2027. The role provides the opportunity to impact students across varied educational environments while utilizing both in-person and teletherapy approaches.
