Virtual Speech Language Pathologist Position – Alabama | 2026–2027 School Year
Soliant is seeking a dedicated Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide teletherapy services for an Alabama school district during the 2026–2027 school year. This fully remote opportunity is ideal for an experienced SLP who enjoys the flexibility of virtual services while making a meaningful impact on student communication and academic success.
Position Overview
- Full-time Virtual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) position
- 2026–2027 school year contract
- Alabama school district assignment
- Fully remote/teletherapy opportunity
- Competitive compensation: $45–$50/hour
- 1099 Independent Contractor opportunity
- Caseload and student population based on district needs
- Opportunity for contract renewal following successful completion
SLP Responsibilities
- Provide virtual speech and language therapy services to students in a school-based setting
- Complete evaluations, assessments, and progress monitoring
- Develop and implement individualized education plan (IEP) goals
- Deliver evidence-based therapy aligned with student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation, including progress notes and service logs
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, families, and other related service providers
- Participate in IEP meetings and team discussions as needed
- Utilize a secure teletherapy platform to provide engaging and effective services
Qualifications
- Active Alabama Speech Language Pathology license
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based SLP experience preferred
- Experience providing virtual/teletherapy services is a plus
- Strong understanding of IEP development and school-based service delivery
- Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills
- Comfortable using technology to deliver virtual services
