A specialized speech-language pathology role focusing on early intervention services is available for the 26/27 school year. This contract position requires providing telespeech therapy and onsite services in a school setting, delivering 16 hours per week (4 hours daily) to support student development.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting speech and language assessments and therapy sessions for children in early intervention.
- Utilizing teletherapy platforms as well as in-person methods to deliver effective treatment.
- Collaborating with educational staff to develop individualized therapy plans.
- Maintaining documentation and progress reports in compliance with professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Valid Louisiana Speech Therapist License.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology preferred.
- Experience delivering speech therapy in school environments, including telespeech.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
