The assignment runs from August 11th, 2026, to May 27th, 2027, including potential pre- and post-term planning.

Qualifications:

  • Current South Carolina SLP license required
  • SC Educator Certification required
  • certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred; strong consideration given to SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs)
  • Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is highly desirable
  • Comfortable working across various age groups and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Engage in assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
  • Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and progress monitoring processes
  • Utilize district-provided resources and materials to enhance service delivery
