Qualifications:
- Current South Carolina SLP license required
- SC Educator Certification required
- certificate of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is strongly preferred; strong consideration given to SLP Clinical Fellows (CFs)
- Prior experience in a school-based SLP role is highly desirable
- Comfortable working across various age groups and collaborating with interdisciplinary teams
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in accordance with IEP goals
- Engage in assessments, create individualized treatment plans, and document student progress
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and school staff to promote student success
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to eligibility and progress monitoring processes
- Utilize district-provided resources and materials to enhance service delivery
