Key Qualifications:
- Active Florida SLP license required
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) welcomed
- Experience in school-based, pediatric, and healthcare SLP settings valued
- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Dedication to fostering a positive, inclusive learning environment
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct assessments, screenings, and evaluations to determine students’ needs
- Collaborate with teachers, special educators, and families to integrate therapy goals into daily activities
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
- Stay up-to-date on best practices in speech-language pathology
