Pediatric School-Based SLP | Tacoma, Washington

Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Washington state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Previous experience in pediatric or school settings is highly valued
- Compassion, flexibility, and strong communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver evidence-based speech, language, voice, and fluency therapy to students in PreK-12
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized education plans (IEPs), and maintain documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and educational teams to create supportive learning environments
- Participate in IEP meetings, communicate student progress, and advocate for students’ needs
- Adapt session materials and strategies to accommodate diverse student needs and abilities
