A public school in Renton, WA, is seeking two full-time Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) to join their team on a contract basis. These positions require in-person attendance, with no teletherapy or remote work options. One position is available for an immediate start, and the other will begin at the end of February.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address speech and language delays or impairments.
  • Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student communication goals.
  • Document and maintain detailed records of student progress and therapy sessions.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student success.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
  • Experience working in K-12 school settings preferred.
  • Strong skills in evaluating and treating speech, language, and communication disorders among school-aged children.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work onsite consistently and support student needs in an educational environment.
