A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist position is available in East Syracuse, New York, for the 2024-2025 academic year. This contract-to-hire opportunity offers a full-time schedule with a caseload comprising students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators and families
- Monitor student progress and adjust plans as necessary
- Provide direct therapy services and support to students
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with school policies and state regulations
- Consult and collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to enhance student communication outcomes
Qualifications:
- Possession of a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Speech-Language Pathologist license or certification appropriate for school settings
- Eligible candidates with Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) experience will be considered
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational environments preferred
- Strong communication and organizational skills with an ability to work well in a team

Hours: Full-Time, 40 hours per week
Caseload: Mix of K-12 students
