Pediatric School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Albany, New York

Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid Florida Speech-Language Pathology license
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings is valued (not required)
- Proficiency with a range of treatment modalities, such as AAC, PROMPT, and social communication
- Exceptional communication and organizational skills
- Comfort with teletherapy platforms and pediatric populations
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) applicants encouraged to apply
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify students’ communication needs
- Develop and implement tailored speech and language intervention plans
- Provide both individual and group therapy to improve students’ articulation, language, and social communication
- Engage collaboratively with teachers, parents, and other staff to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation of all therapy sessions, progress reports, and goals
- Participate in ongoing professional development, meetings, and trainings
