Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments to identify student strengths and needs
- Develop and implement evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each student’s goals
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions focusing on articulation, language comprehension, and overall communication skills
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and allied professionals to facilitate student success
- Maintain clear and up-to-date records of therapy sessions, progress, and treatment plans
- Take part in meetings, trainings, and professional development activities to stay abreast of best practices and new techniques
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited institution
- Current Florida Speech-Language Pathology license
- Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates and SLPs with Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) encouraged to apply
- School-based or pediatric experience preferred, but open to candidates with strong interest
- Familiarity with AAC, PROMPT, and social communication interventions is a plus
- Strong communication, documentation, and time-management skills
- Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team
