A maternity leave position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) holding a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to serve an elementary caseload in a school setting located in Crystal Lake, Illinois. This contract assignment runs from April through June, offering 37.5 hours per week in a supportive educational environment.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing speech and language services to elementary students
- Conducting assessments, developing individualized education plans (IEPs), and documenting progress
- Collaborating with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student communication needs
- Implementing therapy techniques tailored to meet individual student goals
Desired qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure appropriate for practicing in Illinois
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Experience working with elementary-aged students in a school setting
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to support a travel contract if preferred
