Qualifications and Experience:

  • Active Speech-Language Pathologist license in Illinois
  • PEL (Professional Educator License) certification is required
  • Experience working with school-aged children, ideally in elementary settings
  • Clinical Certification of Competence (CCC) preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration abilities
  • Dedication to fostering positive student outcomes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide assessment and therapy services to elementary students in accordance with IEP goals
  • Develop, implement, and track individualized treatment plans
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to support each student's progress
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation as mandated by educational standards
  • Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary teams
  • Deliver engaging, age-appropriate interventions in both individual and group settings
