A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed on a contract basis, beginning ASAP through the end of the school year. This engaging position supports students across several schools, including locations from Tavernier to Key Largo.
Candidates with SLP-CCC, SLP-CFY credentials, or school-based experience are encouraged to apply. You will have a chance to serve students at multiple campuses, including Key Largo School, Plantation Key, and Coral Shores High School. Desired Experience & Qualifications:
- SLP-CCC or SLP-CFY credential required
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
- Ability to manage a diverse K-12 caseload
- Willingness to travel between schools within the Upper Keys
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech-language assessments in accordance with school district standards
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and support staff to maximize students’ progress
- Monitor, document, and regularly report on student growth and outcomes
- Attend and participate in IEP meetings as needed
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive environment for all learners
