Your expertise will help shape student success at multiple locations, including Key Largo School, Plantation Key, and Coral Shores High School. This dynamic role welcomes both SLPs with their Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and those holding their Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Florida SLP license (or eligibility to obtain)
- ASHA CCC or in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY)
- Previous school-based experience preferred, but motivated new graduates encouraged to apply
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt and travel between sites as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language services, including evaluations and direct therapy
- Develop and implement IEPs in collaboration with a supportive multidisciplinary team
- Track student progress and adjust therapeutic approaches as necessary
- Document services and maintain compliance with state and school guidelines
- Communicate effectively with teachers, parents, and staff to promote student achievement
- Travel between designated school sites across the Upper Keys as part of your weekly schedule
