A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-6 school located in Sulphur Springs, TX. This contract role begins in March and extends through the end of the school year in June, with options to continue through summer and the following school year. The position involves working on-site with a moderate to severe caseload, alongside two other full-time therapists.

Responsibilities include assessing, diagnosing, and providing speech and language therapy to students in grades K through 6. Therapists will collaborate with school staff and families to support student communication goals and participate in team meetings as needed.

Key qualifications and skills desired:

  • Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA)
  • Experience in school-based therapy with pediatric caseloads
  • Familiarity with teletherapy is a plus but this role is on-site only
  • Ability to manage moderate to severe cases effectively
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Availability for full-time hours, up to 40 per week

Schedule and location details:

  • Location: Sulphur Springs, TX
  • School-based setting; one school site only
  • Student grades: K-6
  • Hours: Start between 7:30-8:00 AM, end between 2:45-3:45 PM
  • On-site work only
