As a full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) working 35-37.5 hours per week, you’ll help shape young lives across two engaging settings: dividing your expertise between a special education preschool (.5 FTE) and an elementary school (.5 FTE). Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid SLP-CCC credential
- Eligibility for relevant state licensure
- Previous school-based SLP experience highly preferred
- Experience supporting preschool and elementary students a plus
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and collaboration
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language therapy to students at both preschool and elementary levels
- Conduct evaluations and develop Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
- Implement tailored therapeutic interventions targeting communication delays, articulation, fluency, and more
- Consult with teachers, families, and other support staff for holistic student care
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with school and legal standards
- Participate in team meetings, IEP reviews, and training sessions as required
