Qualifications and Experience:
- Current Ohio license as a School Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience working in a school setting preferred
- Solid understanding of IEPs, evaluations, treatment planning, and documentation
- Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, and communication disorders
- Develop customized intervention plans tailored to individual student needs
- Maintain accurate and timely records in accordance with school district guidelines
- Collaborate with teachers, families, and special education staff to optimize student outcomes
- Deliver engaging therapy sessions within two school buildings
- Participate in IEP meetings and assist with compliance to documentation standards
This full-time contract role runs from August 24, 2026, through June 7, 2027, with a consistent weekly schedule of 37.5 hours. You’ll be working with a diverse and supportive team dedicated to making a positive impact during a crucial stage of student development.
