Qualifications & Experience:
- Holds a current Ohio School SLP license.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Demonstrated experience working in school-based or pediatric settings.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills.
- Ability to travel between two school buildings.
- Passion for fostering inclusive, supportive learning environments.
Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech and language assessment, diagnosis, and therapy to a caseload of 40-50 students.
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with teachers, parents, and other specialists.
- Deliver direct and consultative SLP services within both Carylwood Intermediate and Columbus Intermediate schools (grades 4–5).
- Monitor student progress, document services, and maintain up-to-date records in compliance with district and state regulations.
- Engage actively in IEP meetings, team collaborations, and interdisciplinary planning to promote student success.
