Pediatric School Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) | Stone Mountain, Georgia

Make a difference for K-5 students as an onsite Speech-Language Pathologist with expertise in school-based and pediatric settings. This contract opportunity offers you the chance to support elementary-aged learners with a well-rounded caseload that includes assessments, therapy, evaluations, and participation in IEP meetings.
You’ll collaborate closely with educators and families to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that empower students to reach their communication goals. This role is located near Stone Mountain, GA, providing a supportive environment with a manageable weekly schedule.
Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Speech-Language Pathologist licensure in Georgia or GaPSC Certificate (pending status may be acceptable)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Previous virtual school experience essential; must include experience pre-2020 or post-2020, with some outside of COVID-related remote learning
- Background in serving pediatric and school-aged children
- Strong skills in assessment, therapy, and developing IEPs
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language services to K-5 students onsite
- Conduct comprehensive assessments, devise therapy plans, and complete evaluations
- Participate actively in IEP meetings and closely monitor student progress
- Maintain thorough records and collaborate with educational teams
- Adapt communication methods to meet diverse student needs
