- Active Georgia SLP license or eligibility for licensure required
- ASHA CCC-SLP or current CFY status considered
- Previous school-based experience is preferred, but strong clinical backgrounds are welcome
- Ability to collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication, organizational, and record-keeping skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy services to students individually and in group settings
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments to determine eligibility and therapy needs
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with IEP teams
- Maintain detailed therapy logs and progress reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and parent conferences as needed
- Consult with teachers and staff to support student success in the classroom
- Engage in professional development and stay updated on best practices in school-based SLP services
