Pediatric School Speech Therapist - Stockton, California
A Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed for a school-based contract position in Stockton, CA for the current school year. This role involves providing in-person speech and language assessments and actively participating in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to support student progress.
Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive speech and language assessments for students
- Collaborating with educators and families through IEP meetings
- Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans based on assessment results
- Monitoring student progress and adjusting therapy goals as needed
- Maintaining detailed and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Experience working with school-aged children in educational settings preferred
- Strong knowledge of pediatric speech and language disorders
- Familiarity with IEP processes and compliance requirements
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with school staff and families
