Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in schools, particularly with early elementary-aged children, is highly desired
- Strong assessment, report-writing, and organizational skills
- Compassionate communicator equipped to collaborate with diverse students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of approximately 50 PreK-2 students, providing both individual and group speech-language therapy
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and contribute to eligibility determinations
- Deliver direct intervention using evidence-based practices to support speech, language, and communication goals
- Complete all necessary documentation, including progress notes and IEP paperwork, with attention to deadlines and accuracy
- Collaborate with special education staff and families to advocate for student needs and share progress
- Oversee case management duties such as scheduling, data tracking, and facilitating team meetings when needed
