Key Qualifications:
- Michigan Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Prior experience in a school setting and working with elementary-age students highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and documentation skills
- Ability to tailor therapy strategies to individual student needs
Core Responsibilities:
- Assess and evaluate students referred for speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals for each student
- Deliver direct therapy services in individual and group settings
- Document progress, prepare necessary reports, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families for student-centered care
- Maintain compliance with state, federal, and district regulations
