School-Based Speech Language Pathologist - Sterling Heights, Michigan

Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active SLP license in Michigan (or eligibility to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows will be considered
- Prior school-based experience or strong interest in K-12 educational settings
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently onsite
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct screenings and comprehensive evaluations for students across K-12 grade levels
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans addressing receptive, expressive, and pragmatic language needs
- Collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services in alignment with each student’s IEP
- Document progress, maintain records, and prepare necessary reports
- Participate in IEP meetings and school-related activities as required
