Qualifications & Experience:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist license in Michigan (MI SLP License)
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred
- Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt therapy approaches for a diverse elementary caseload, from early childhood through 5th grade
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans based on student evaluations
- Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students onsite
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and treatment sessions
- Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and parents to support educational goals
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to the multidisciplinary team
