Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
- Current SLP license or eligibility for licensure
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) preferred, but CFY candidates may be considered
- Previous school-based experience or a demonstrated interest in working with school-aged children
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt to a dynamic setting and work with diverse student populations
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy to students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educators, families, and other professionals
- Maintain accurate records of evaluations, progress, and services provided
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to ensure student success
- Provide education and resources about communication disorders to students, staff, and families
- Attend IEP meetings and participate in school team initiatives as required
