Qualifications and Credentials:
- Current and valid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Prior experience in an educational setting, preferably K-8
- Strong familiarity with Augmentative and Alternative Communication (AAC) devices
- Excellent assessment, documentation, and communication skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech-language services to students in grades K-8
- Assess, diagnose, and implement therapy plans tailored to a moderate to profound caseload
- Develop and facilitate communication goals, incorporating AAC technology as appropriate
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and the education team to optimize student outcomes
- Maintain thorough records and contribute to IEP development
- Engage in multidisciplinary meetings and share insights to support student achievement
