Speech Language Pathologist in New Haven, CT

Qualifications & Credentials:
- Active Speech-Language Pathologist license (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required
- Familiarity with school-based service delivery models
- Experience managing K-8 caseloads preferred
- Strong understanding of assistive and augmentative communication (AAC) devices
- Able to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation skills
Position Details:
- Contract assignment: September 16, 2026 – January 31, 2027
- Monday – Friday, 37.5 hours per week
- K-8 student population, approximately 40 students on caseload
- Single campus placement, minimizing travel between sites
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and implement therapeutic interventions for students with communication challenges
- Develop and execute individualized treatment plans and IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to ensure student progress
- Provide guidance and training to school staff on the use of AAC devices
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation in accordance with school and legal standards
