A dynamic opportunity is available for a licensed Bilingual Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to work onsite in a school setting in Springfield, MA. This full-time, travel position spans the 2026-2027 academic year (August through June) and is ideal for a professional skilled in providing speech-language services to diverse student populations within a school environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a bilingual school-age population.
- Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals and plans in collaboration with educators and families.
- Provide direct speech-language therapy services aligned with state and federal guidelines.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for progress monitoring and compliance.
- Participate in team meetings and communicate effectively with school staff, students, and parents.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts state license as a Speech Language Pathologist.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred.
- Demonstrated experience working as an SLP in schools.
- Bilingual proficiency required to serve the student population.
- Ability to pass drug screening and complete background, fingerprinting, and CORI checks.
- Reliable transportation with punctual arrival and departure.
- Strong communication skills and professional responsibility in attendance and notification protocols for absences.
