School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | New Bedford, Massachusetts

Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP)
- Bilingual skills in Spanish and/or Portuguese are highly valued
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as an SLP in Massachusetts
- Three years of school-based experience is highly preferred
- Ability to supervise SLPAs and CFYs is a plus; candidates open to mentorship are welcome
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and consultative speech, language, and communication services across a diverse K-12 population
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs), collaborating with teachers, families, and support staff
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and provide clear, actionable recommendations
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines
- Generate positive outcomes through culturally responsive communication and support
- Optionally provide supervision and mentorship to assistants (SLPAs) and clinical fellows (CFYs), fostering professional growth
