As a licensed Speech Language Pathologist, you’ll provide comprehensive assessments, design individualized treatment plans, and deliver direct therapy services in a school-based, onsite-only setting. Bilingual proficiency enables you to serve a broader range of students, ensuring equitable and effective supports as they reach their fullest potential.
What you bring:
- Active Massachusetts Speech Language Pathologist license (must be verified with submitted documentation)
- Demonstrated school-based SLP experience, preferably with school-age populations
- Bilingual (English/Spanish or other relevant languages) proficiency required
- Completion of all pre-employment screenings, including fingerprinting, drug screen, and CORI background check
- Reliable transportation and punctual attendance
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Ability to work the full contract (August 2026–June 2027), Monday–Friday
Role responsibilities include:
- Assessing and identifying students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Developing and implementing evidence-based therapy plans in both English and the second language
- Collaborating with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with IEPs, state, and district guidelines
- Notifying appropriate contacts promptly when unable to attend or in cases of illness
