Key Qualifications:
- Active Massachusetts SLP-CCC license; please be prepared to provide a screenshot as proof of current licensure
- Experience in school-based or pediatric settings, preferably as a bilingual provider
- Strong understanding of best practices for speech-language assessments and interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Proficient documentation, evaluation, and progress monitoring skills
- Reliable transportation and punctuality are essential
- Must successfully pass drug screening, fingerprinting, and background/CORI check
Role Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct speech and language therapy services to students, adjusting approaches to meet diverse bilingual needs
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and develop individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with state/regulatory standards
- Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress, goals, and communications
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute expertise to team discussions, and advise staff on communication supports
- Serve as a resource on language development for families and educational staff
- Appropriately communicate any absences, prioritizing both client and agency protocols
