Key Qualifications:
- Active SLP license in the state of Texas
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates also considered
- Experience in school-based settings or working with pediatric populations
- Willingness to supervise when holding CCCs
- Strong communication, organization, and collaborative skills
- Ability to manage and organize a caseload of up to 60 students across one or two school sites
Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct and indirect speech-language services to students according to their IEPs
- Conduct screenings, evaluations, and develop individualized therapy plans
- Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to drive student success
- Ensure timely and accurate documentation, progress monitoring, and reporting
- Participate in IEP meetings and provide ongoing communication regarding student progress
- Supervise and mentor SLPAs, CFs, or therapy assistants as required
- Travel to assigned campuses, which may occasionally involve working across two nearby schools
