Key Qualifications:
- Active North Carolina Speech-Language Pathologist license required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) strongly preferred; CFs and SLPAs considered
- Prior experience in a school setting is highly recommended
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Passion for working with children and engaging families in the therapeutic process
- Committed to onsite-only services (no virtual/remote options available)
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and maintain accurate records
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student needs
- Monitor progress, adjust therapy plans, and participate in IEP meetings
- Offer guidance and supervision to SLPAs, if applicable
- Foster a positive and encouraging learning environment
