Speech Language Pathologist in Spotsylvania, VA

You will be covering two maternity leaves, providing essential continuity for students and collaborating closely with supportive staff.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Active SLP licensure for practice in a school setting
- CCC preferred, but Clinical Fellows are also encouraged to apply
- Proficiency working with K-12 populations; let us know if you have specific caseload preferences
- Strong communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
- Commitment to individualized, student-centered care
Responsibilities you can expect:
- Deliver direct speech-language therapy to students across elementary, middle, and high school levels
- Collaborate with educators, families, and interdisciplinary teams to support student success
- Complete necessary assessments, develop IEP goals, and maintain accurate records
- Provide both short-term intensive support and ongoing intervention as needed
- Serve as a compassionate advocate for students’ communication needs
The schedule aligns with the coverage of two maternity leaves: one SLP will be on leave from late December/early January through early March, while the second is out from mid-November until spring break at the end of March.
