Key Qualifications:

  • Valid MN SLP License required
  • Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) preferred
  • Experience with pediatric populations, especially in school or healthcare settings
  • Strong understanding of speech and language disorders common in elementary-aged children
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, families, and other specialists to develop and implement IEPs
  • Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments, develop IEP goals, and implement evidence-based therapy for students with speech and language needs
  • Monitor progress and regularly communicate updates to families and educational staff
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Maintain detailed records in compliance with district, state, and federal requirements
  • Provide resources and training to parents and classroom teachers as needed
