Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) – School-Based Positions (2 Openings)
Location: Queensbury, New York
Position Overview
We are seeking two experienced Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP-CCCs) for school-based opportunities in Queensbury, NY. Both positions offer the opportunity to work with students in supportive educational environments, providing speech and language services to elementary and middle school populations.
Please Note: These positions require an active Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC). Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates will not be considered.
Position 1 – Medical Leave Coverage
- Start Date: January 27, 2027
- End Date: March 15, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Student Population: Primarily middle school students, with some elementary-aged students.
- Assignment Type: Temporary medical leave coverage.
Position 2 – Full School Year Assignment
- Start Date: December 4, 2026
- End Date: June 25, 2027
- Schedule: Full-time
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week
- Student Population: Elementary school students.
Position Responsibilities
- Provide speech-language therapy services to assigned students.
- Conduct speech and language assessments and evaluations as needed.
- Develop and implement individualized therapy goals and treatment plans.
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
- Collaborate with teachers, families, school staff, and other related service providers.
- Support students in achieving their communication and educational goals.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Active New York SLP license required.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) required.
- Previous school-based or pediatric experience preferred.
- Experience working with elementary and/or middle school-aged students.
- Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills.
Pay: $50-$55/hour (negotiable based on experience)
