School Speech Language Pathologist - Soledad, California
Work as a Speech Therapist supporting a vibrant K-12 district for the 26/27 school year. Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Valid SLP license for California or eligibility for licensure
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) or eligibility for CFY supervision
- Previous experience with school-aged children preferred, but enthusiastic new grads will be considered
- Strong communication, organizational, and teamwork abilities
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and families
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and diagnose students’ speech, language, and communication needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to student goals
- Deliver direct therapy services to K-12 students in small group and individual settings
- Record and monitor student progress; maintain detailed documentation
- Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations and annual reviews
- Consult with teachers and families to support student success in academic and social contexts
- Stay current with professional best practices and continuing education
