A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) and Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) position is available for the upcoming 2026-2027 school year in the Simi Valley, CA area. This role is based in a school setting, working with students from kindergarten through 8th grade. The position involves providing speech therapy services in person and may include teletherapy options.
Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language evaluations and therapy to students ages K-8.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of therapy sessions and student progress.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Licensed or Certified as an SLP or SLPA with experience in school or healthcare settings.
- Current Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates welcome.
- Ability to provide services in both in-person and teletherapy formats.
- Experience working with pediatric populations, especially K-8 students.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Work Details:
- Contract position for the 2026-2027 school year.
- Full-time schedule, 7.5 hours per day.
- Position begins in August.
