A full-time position is available for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) with pediatric experience in a school setting, located in Silver Spring, MD. This contract role offers the opportunity to work Monday through Friday, aligned with the school calendar, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid state licensure as an SLP
- School-based speech-language pathology experience preferred
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred
- Pediatric SLP expertise is a strong asset
Responsibilities include:
- Providing direct speech and language therapy to K-12 students
- Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans
- Collaborating with educators and families to support student progress
- Maintaining accurate documentation and complying with school policies
- Participating in assessments and IEP meetings as needed
