- Current licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Prior experience working with school-aged children preferred
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaborative skills
- Ability to adapt therapeutic approaches to individual student needs
- Familiarity with IEP development and implementation
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and diagnose speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings
- Work closely with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student growth and goal achievement
- Provide direct and consultative therapy services in both individual and group settings
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress reports, and data for Medicaid billing as required
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute expertise to educational planning
- Offer resources and strategies to staff and families to facilitate generalization of skills in the classroom and at home
