Preferred qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current and valid state licensure (or ability to obtain)
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) strongly preferred, but CFY candidates considered
- Previous experience working with school-aged children is highly desirable
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management abilities
- Adaptability and a collaborative attitude for working alongside educators and families
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to identify students’ speech and language needs
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to address communication goals
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and support staff to facilitate a positive, supportive environment
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in line with district and state requirements
- Provide direct and consultative services, both individually and in groups
- Participate in IEP meetings, offering expert input and recommendations
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated with best practices in the field
