A Speech Language Pathologist opportunity is available for an onsite short-term contract assignment in Everett, WA, providing essential leave coverage. This role offers flexible hours, with options to work either one day per week or four days per week, supporting preschool through elementary-age students with speech and language needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver individualized speech and language therapy to preschool and elementary students
  • Manage a caseload of approximately 9 students for one day per week or around 36 students when working four days per week
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to develop and implement effective communication strategies and educational plans
  • Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and therapy sessions in compliance with district and state guidelines
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the continuous improvement of speech and language services within the school environment

Qualifications:

  • Current Washington state Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) license
  • ESA certification required for school-based practice
  • Experience providing speech and language services in an educational setting preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple student caseloads effectively
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with students, families, and staff
