Preferred Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Valid Arizona State SLP License
- Arizona Educator Certificate
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA
- Bilingual proficiency (Spanish/English strongly preferred)
- Experience in school settings, especially K-8th grade
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive bilingual speech and language evaluations for K-8 students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to interpret results and formulate recommendations
- Travel to various school locations within the district to provide direct assessment services
- Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with state and district regulations
- Participate in meetings and consultations with administrators, teachers, and parents
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in bilingual speech-language assessment
