School-Based Speech Language Pathologist | San Antonio, Texas
Step into an essential role as a Speech Language Pathologist providing support for the first 9-week period of the 2026 school year. This full-time, on-site contract position offers the opportunity to directly impact students’ communication and academic success by covering a maternity leave assignment at two campuses in a thriving educational community near San Antonio, TX.
The district will conduct interviews on 4/27/26, seeking a dedicated professional with experience in school-based settings. While CCCs are preferred, consideration will be given to CFYs—supervision is included to ensure ongoing professional growth. Fluency in English and the ability to supervise a bilingual SLPA is required for SLP candidates.
Desired Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Active, current professional license
- School-based SLP experience strongly preferred
- Bilingual proficiency required
- Ability to supervise a bilingual SLPA (SLP only—not applicable for CFY)
- Eligible to complete all fingerprinting and background check requirements
- Available for a full-time schedule (37.5 hours per week), beginning 8/17/26 to 10/9/26
- Strong organizational and communication skills
Essential Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, teachers, and families
- Deliver direct and consultative language services to assigned students
- Supervise the assigned bilingual SLPA
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
