Seeking a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC) to provide contract services on an elementary campus just outside the 288 corridor. This rewarding opportunity offers an engaging caseload of approximately 60 students, including intervention, ECSE, and self-contained K-4th classrooms, as well as a behavioral support program. The position allows for a blend of on-site collaboration and flexibility with the chance to work remotely one day per week. Desired Qualifications:
- Hold a current Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
- Valid licensure to practice as an SLP in Texas
- Demonstrated prior experience working in a K-12 school environment (required)
- Familiarity with Texas educational systems, practices, and special education services is highly desirable
- Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to a diverse caseload (~60 students) within an elementary setting
- Serve students in various programs, including ECSE, self-contained classrooms, and behavioral support
- Assess, diagnose, and develop individualized treatment plans for students with a range of communication needs
- Collaborate with teachers, interventionists, and families to support student progress and IEP compliance
- Maintain accurate documentation, progress tracking, and timely reporting
