Qualifications:
- Valid SLP licensure for the state of New York
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) or eligibility for Clinical Fellowship (CFY)
- Prior experience in school-based or pediatric settings preferred
- Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
- Excellent interpersonal skills to engage with students, teachers, and families
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload and prioritize tasks efficiently
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services individually and in small groups to elementary students
- Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans in accordance with students’ IEPs
- Document student progress, maintain records, and participate in IEP meetings
- Collaborate closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to maximize student outcomes
- Provide consultative services and classroom strategies when appropriate
